The executive sought the support of a VISCONTI coach to improve their priority management. Before the first workshop, the coach provided various tools for self-assessment.
Together, the coach and the coachee analyzed the executive’s schedule and the results of the questionnaire. This analysis revealed excessive involvement in operational and production tasks, insufficient time allocated to strategic leadership matters, and an infrequent meeting schedule with the executive committee.
This coaching process made the executive realize that they had been reacting to their schedule rather than actively managing it. They also recognized that they were not dedicating enough time to important but non-urgent matters, such as strategy and mid-term initiatives.
As a result, the executive’s weekly, monthly, and annual schedule was restructured as follows:
