Jean-Pierre began his career in biophysics research at the University of Paris XII where he taught while preparing a postgraduate thesis.
He then joined the business world with the Carrefour Group. First in France, then in Taiwan. He later took over the management of Japan's operations in charge of opening up the country.
Then he developed the market in central-western China as Regional Operational Director. After 8 years in Asia, he joined Europe as Director of Strategic Marketing Programs for the Group in Belgium. Finally, he became CEO of the Marionnaud Group in Switzerland where he developed the network. Subsequently, he created his own consulting company in strategy for international retail in Zürich.
Under this banner, he is also an “Operating Partner” for the strategy consulting firm 7M Consulting and supports executive managers in career transition in Switzerland and Paris for the world leader in outplacement.
With this international experience, he joined the VISCONTI team and lives in Zürich. He speaks English, French, and German.
Today, Jean-Pierre supports managing directors of all sizes of companies and from all sectors in Switzerland and France, both in office, taking office or in career development (in-placement/out-placement).
Of course, retail and its managerial challenges are among his areas of predilection.
Jean-Pierre holds an INSEAD corporate master's degree and a DEA in biomedical physical sciences.
