An Executive Committee is a highly observed team within the company. Indeed, this exemplary body sets the course, embodies the values of the company, imposes its management style… Over the years, Executive Committee coaching has become essential both to strengthen the efficiency and cohesion of its members and to develop its skills.
THE COACHING OF AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS 4 NEEDS
- To strengthen the management team
- To make the Executive Committee efficient
- Manage a crisis within the executive committee
- Develop the skills of the executive committee
- Each need has its own specific coaching method and tools
BONDING THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
A management team is above all a team. It must therefore be united.
We implement all the techniques useful for cohesion : seminars (ideally three times a year), joint work (e.g. rotating coaching between team members on a transverse subject) and development of mutual knowledge.
MAKING THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE EFFECTIVE
An Executive Committee is a steering body for the execution of a strategy. It is therefore an organization and a process in itself.
We regularly audit the quality of Executive Committees and help them to progress thanks to our experience of accompanying more than 300 Executive Committees per year.
MANAGING A CRISIS WITHIN THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The crisis can take different forms : conflict between directors or conflict between the leader and the directors.
We encourage the leader and the managers to express themselves as freely as possible. We often act as a mediator to resolve the conflict and get back on track.
DEVELOP THE SKILLS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee must progress in areas that are transversal to management : strategy, time management, management practices, organization, innovation, customer experience, etc.
On average, we intervene every quarter in the Executive Committees of the managers we accompany in order to create the conditions for collective progress and to bring substance and experience.
In addition, we coach each member of the Executive Committee on an ad hoc basis. This is of course in addition to the management work of the executive himself.
VISCONTI coaching allows the Executive Committee to become aware of the objective reality of the company.
